Hector Molne


He was born on March 3, 1935 in Camagüey, Cuba. He studied at the School of Plastic Arts of Camagüey. He later received a scholarship to study at La Grande Chaumiere in Paris. Molne has held numerous exhibitions in Cuba, Costa Rica, Los Angeles and Miami where he settled.

Molné has had numerous solo exhibitions in Cuba, Costa Rica, Los Angeles and Miami and has participated in important group exhibitions of Cuban art in Havana, Camagüey, France, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Costa Rica and the United States. His work is always featured at Nova Galerías y Arte Eduardo Padrón in Coral Gables, Florida. His works are regularly auctioned at Sotheby's, New York, where they always sell well. He currently lives in San José, Costa Rica.
